Prague Sights, Sounds and Hotels

A prevalent meeting place in Prague is the Charles Bridge. The bridge, built in 1357, was, for many hundred years, the singular link between Prague’s two halves. There are 30 Baroque statues which were added over time from 1683 and stationed at intervals along the 520 m of the bridge, many of which have been replaced by replicas as the original statues were being damaged by contamination and were placed in Letná Park where one can still go and view them. Buskers and craft stalls enhance the atmosphere along this well-liked gathering place.

Prague's Charles Bridge is one of the many glorious long-standing features of Prague, in fact the entire city is made up remarkable features from way back. Many of the outstanding Prague hotels inhabit some of the city's beautiful aged buildings.
