Extensive renovations in 1946 restored the 17th century Palais Lascaris to its original beauty. A fine baroque palace, with a magnificent sweeping staircase, once the home of the Lascaris-Vintimille family, is a historic monument. This museum of local history is also home to an 18th century apothecary with many original Delftware accessories on display. On Wednesdays craftspeople give demonstrations of their crafts and children are welcome.
